There are many many reasons to study Chinese and lots of websites are offering to teach you Chinese ... This one is the best I have found . It's free and it is very professional indeed. You can even use a 'Touchpad' to input characters, I am using the 'Wacom Bamboo MTE450' which should be available for about 500 RMB, but I am sure there are cheaper ones as well.
